Mogo Book Store

A secondhand and antiquarian bookshop in the old gold-rush village of Mogo, just inland from Batemans Bay on the NSW south coast. The shelves are the draw: rare first editions, out-of-print titles and genuinely old volumes — nineteenth-century histories, early classics, the occasional two-hundred-year-old curiosity — each priced individually and chosen with a collector's eye. It's a browse-slowly kind of shop, the sort where you go in for one thing and leave with three, and a natural stop on a day spent wandering Mogo's strip of makers and traders.
