Goulds Book Arcade
A family-run bookshop and member of the Australian Booksellers Association, Goulds spent from 1989 at the city end of King Street before shifting in late 2018 to 536 King Street, directly opposite Alice Street in south Newtown near the New Theatre. Stock is also listed through Biblio and Abebooks, though those items are held off-site, so ring ahead on 02 9519 8947 for collection. Open six days, closed Tuesdays.
